I just finished a new certificate in UT Austin’s Postgraduate Program in Data Science and Data Analytics. This is a mentored program that built on my existing Python programming skills in areas such as Business Statistics, Machine Learning and Data Visualization. We learned about supervised and unsupervised machine learning, model tuning and ensemble methods. We also built a project portfolio as we went.
My next undertaking is an Advanced Tableau program to prepare for Tableau Data Analyst Certification. That should be completed in February and my goal is to take the Tableau certification exam as soon as I finish the program.
I am still regularly taking Art classes at The Studio in Cedar Park and The Contemporary Austin. My focus lately has been on abstract drawing and acrylic painting.
