I’m really enjoying Austin Kleon’s book, Show Your Work!: 10 Ways to Share Your Creativity and Get Discovered
Recently, a few family members and I had our DNA tested via ancestry.com and there were some surprises in our Ethnicity. We always identified as German/Irish, when in fact, we were more British and Scandinavian than we ever thought. This discovery inspired me to start researching my genealogy in earnest and allowed me to find DNA connections to my adopted great-grandmother’s birth family. If you are interested in genealogy, there are several sites offering DNA testing and familysearch.org is a wonderful free resource.
