Update: Thinking Visually and Getting Addicted to Trailhead

I recently finished a course called Visual Thinking and Sketchnoting Bootcamp at Udemy.com that I really enjoyed. I have purchased several courses at Udemy but this was one of the few that I quickly completed from start to finish and actually looked forward to working on each day. I’ve been looking for ways to work more creativity into each day and this course taught me some skills that I can use in my day-to-day work as a scrum master and agile developer.

At my current job, we are not a “python shop” but I continue to look for ways to practice python programming in real life situations. Most recently, I did this by using python to loop through and scrape text from CMS eCQM html files stored locally in order to do text compares of measure changes from year to year.

Last year, Salesforce seemed to be coming up on my radar a lot. There was even some kind of Salesforce event at my hotel in Oslo when I visited in 2018. I decided to find out what the buzz was all about and stumbled onto Trailhead, Salesforce’s free learning experience platform. It was fun and addictive. 64 badges, 1 “superbadge” and 50,675 points later, I’m a Trailhead Expeditioner, still learning, and I think this is a space I’d like to work in.
